Hat Sizing Chart

How to Find Your Hat Size
-
Measure around your head about Β½ inch above your eyebrows using a measuring tape (or use string + ruler).
-
Make sure the tape is straight and not twisted.
-
If you're between sizes, go with the larger size for comfort.
Long Oval Head Shape
-
If your head is longer than round, you may need a "long oval" hat shape.
-
Let us know when ordering if you need this β we can custom shape your hat.
-
Important: Hats made long oval canβt be returned.
-
Fabric hats/caps don't need shapingβthey naturally adjust to your head shape.
Hat Care Tips
Handle With Care:
-
Always pick up your hat by the brim, not the crown (top).
-
Grabbing the crown can crack straw or wear out felt.
How to Rest Your Hat:
-
Donβt place your hat brim-down if itβs curved downward.
-
Instead, rest it upside down on the crown or on the brim only if it's snapped up.
Cleaning:
-
Use a soft brush to gently remove dust and dirt.
-
Store in a cool, dry place. Use a hat box when not in use.
If It Gets Wet:
-
Try not to get straw hats wetβthey can lose shape and color.
-
For felt hats: reshape gently, turn out the sweatband, and let it air dry.
-
Donβt use heat (like near a heater or car window)βit can shrink the sweatband and damage the felt.
